Just a quick note about a destination in the Smokies not far from Townsend, TN that you might want to have a look at while you’re here.
Tuckaleechee Caverns is a great family stop and it’s hard to beat the cavern tours.
These caves were carved over the span of thousands of years. And, right here in the Smokies, which happen to be one of the oldest mountain chains on Earth. These caves are estimated to be between 20 and 30 million years old and are rich in history.
So check out Tuckaleechee Caverns in Townsend, Tennessee the next time you’re visiting.
