The Spring Festival and Old Timer’s Day is coming this weekend, May 2nd & 3rd. Get ready for the Spring event of the year in Townsend, TN. You will experience the culture, music, food and crafts of Smoky Mountains.
Located on the grounds of the Townsend Visitor Center, you will get to see live music, dancing demonstrations and more. Admission is free and parking is $8.00 per day. Also, you can purchase two day parking for $10.00 at the Townsend Visitor’s Center (7906 E. Lamar Alexander Parkway, Townsend, ,TN) or at the Blount County Chamber of Commerce office (201 S. Washington St. in Maryville, TN). There will also be free shuttle service in Townsend during the festival.
Spring Festival and Old Timer’s Day fun!
There will be a host of authors, demonstrators and music during the Spring Festival and Old Timer’s Day, including Dr. Lin Stepp, Roy Oliver, antique weapons display, Blount County Beekeeping Association, Cherokee finger weaving, cornmeal making, white oak shingle making and more.
